Settlements Tab Screen

Use this screen to view, edit, or enter a new settlement or a supplemental settlement. You can also view the Payments and Adjustments tab information from this screen.adjustments and settlement payments in the workfile.

Description of fields in the Settlements Detail screen

Field Label	Description
All Settlements	This is the panel label name.
New Settlement	When enabled, this option opens the New Settlement screen.
Estimate Total $, Pre-Tax Adjustments $ Pre-Tax Subtotal $ Tax $ Post-Tax Adjustments $ Combined Subtotal $ Betterment $ Deductible $ Appearance Allowance $ RPD Adjustment $	The values in these fields are taken from the original estimate. You cannot edit this information.
Base Value $	This value is included in the Total Loss Settlement. Enter a value in this field.
Negligence %	This is the amount the insurance company is NOT responsible for. Enter a percentage value.
Negligence $	This is the amount the insurance company is NOT responsible for. This is a calculated field.
Cost to Repair $	This value is the total amount repair settlement for the vehicle.
Cost to Total Loss $	This represents the total amount total loss cost settlement for the vehicle.
Settlement Status	Valid values are Settled and Unsettled.
Payment Status	Valid values are Paid and Unpaid.
Settled With	This is the party who agreed to the settlement.
Settlement Notes	Enter any settlement notes in this field.
Settlement Decision	Valid values are blank, Repairable, or Total Loss.
Negotiated Amount	This value is the amount that was negotiated in the settlement.
